BUILD BETTER RELATIONSHIPS TO BUILD BETTER BUSINESS.

Every business runs on relationships. Most aren’t ready for what that involves. Businesses need more ‘Relationship Readiness’.

Grievances. Difficult conversations that never happen. Harassment claims. Tribunal cases. They rarely come out of nowhere. They start small, a comment that lands wrong, a boundary nobody named, a conversation everyone kept putting off. Left alone, that’s how a workplace ends up somewhere nobody wanted it to go.

Most businesses don’t have anything in place to catch the small stuff early. Not because they don’t care, because nobody’s ever actually taught their staff how to. That’s what Relationship Readiness means. Not a policy. Not a poster in the break room. The actual, practical skill of communicating clearly, holding a boundary, and having a hard conversation before it becomes a formal one.

From 30 October 2026, UK employers must take “all reasonable steps” to prevent sexual harassment at work, including from customers, clients and contractors, not just colleagues. A policy in a drawer no longer cuts it, and tribunals want proof of real, ongoing prevention work. It’s a good reminder to act, but it’s not the whole reason to do this. A policy can’t teach someone how to say “that wasn’t okay,” or tell a manager what to do when someone quietly says “can I talk to you.” That takes practice, trust, and someone who knows how to actually teach it.

Why Lorraine?

Lorraine brings years of hands-on experience in adult training and education leadership, alongside real, lived experience of relationships, boundaries, communication, and the patterns that quietly shape how people show up, far deeper than any textbook covers. She’s spent years working with people on the conversations they find hardest to have, and knows first-hand what it costs when nobody’s ever taught anyone how to set a boundary or interrupt an old pattern, and what changes once they are.

Who this is for?

If you employ people, work with clients or contractors, or lead a team day to day, this is for you, especially if you’ve never run dedicated boundaries or communication training beyond a policy sign-off, and you’d rather prepare your team properly than scramble once something’s already gone wrong.
