meet Lorraine

Professionally, my career started in adult training within health and social care, before moving into secondary education in a leadership role. A degree in lifelong learning, qualified teacher status, and years spent leading, not just teaching, built on structure, accountability, and managing people, not just subjects. Across both, I learned what it actually takes to teach adults and young people alike, and what it takes to lead a team well.

In 2016, I left teaching for something very different. I retrained in mindfulness, somatic bodywork, and energy work, becoming an experiential facilitator and tantra-informed teacher and practitioner, learning how to talk about, heal, and support the things people find hardest to say out loud about sex, intimacy, and relationships. I built my own business helping people rebuild confidence and communicate honestly, working with clients on sexual confidence, intimacy, and self-acceptance. Media features and podcast interviews followed, along with a genuine love for public speaking.

This work came from the amalgamation of two things: my love of education and teaching, and my own life. I’ve met, and been part of, more relationship dynamics than most people encounter in a lifetime. Since my mid-twenties, I’ve been part of a world of alternative consensual relationship exploration, well beyond convention. Those choices have given me a strong, lived, genuine understanding of boundaries and communication, at a depth no textbook or off-the-shelf skills training can teach.
