Womb Bath® Practitioner Training

Become a Certified Womb Bath® Practitioner

Womb Bath® Practitioner Training is a professional training programme designed to prepare practitioners to safely and ethically deliver Womb Bath® sessions in both group and 1:1 environments.

The training focuses on nervous system safety, environmental holding, ethical boundaries and practitioner presence, giving you the structure and confidence to hold this work with clarity and professionalism.

Womb Bath® is a structured somatic listening modality built around predictable sound, reduced stimulation and non-directive stillness. Participants rest fully clothed in a calm indoor environment while a continuous low-frequency soundscape plays through speakers. The practitioner holds the structure of the space while participants simply rest within it.

Unlike many wellbeing practices, the practitioner does not guide, interpret, analyse or influence experience. The role is to hold the container safely and consistently so the nervous system can settle naturally.

What You Will Learn

This training develops both intellectual understanding and embodied practitioner capacity so that Womb Bath® can be delivered safely and professionally in real settings.

You will learn how to:

• Understand Womb Bath® as a non-clinical, trauma-aware modality
• Create environments that support nervous system settling and safety
• Hold a Womb Bath® container with clarity, structure and restraint
• Deliver complete Womb Bath® sessions from opening to completion
• Work ethically within defined scope of practice
• Maintain participant autonomy, consent and professional boundaries
• Respond appropriately if participants experience discomfort or distress

The training emphasises professional responsibility, containment and practitioner regulation, rather than performance or facilitation.

Womb Bath® is intentionally simple.

It is built on five core principles:

• predictable low-frequency sound
• reduced sensory stimulation
• non-directive stillness
• participant autonomy and choice
• practitioner stewardship rather than facilitation

Practitioners are trained to hold the conditions rather than create experiences.

When those conditions are protected clearly and consistently, the body can settle naturally.

Womb Bath® Practitioner

Certification recognises that you have demonstrated the knowledge, ethical understanding and practical competence required to deliver Womb Bath® sessions professionally.

Certification indicates readiness to practise – not mastery. Ongoing practice deepens skill and confidence over time.

Train with the Founder

The womb Bath was formalised as a distinct modality by Lorraine Crookes 2026 following years of work across tantra, somatic bodywork, mindfulness and empowerment coaching. modality developed from a simple observation: When stimulation reduces and nothing is asked of the body, the nervous system often settles naturally.Womb Bath® formalises the environmental conditions that allow that settling to occur. If you feel called to hold spaces of deep rest, stillness and nervous system settling, Womb Bath® Practitioner Training offers a clear, ethical and professionally structured path.

Why Lorraine Created The Womb Bath®

The Womb Bath® developed gradually through my years of work in tantra, somatic bodywork, mindfulness and empowerment coaching. Across these different spaces, working closely with many people and many nervous systems, I began to notice something important.
The deepest shifts did not come from doing more. They came when nothing was being asked of the body.

Again and again I witnessed the same thing. When people were given space without guidance, interpretation or pressure to change, something softened. Breathing slowed. Muscles released. The nervous system began to regulate in its own time. Those moments stayed with me and quietly shaped the way I began to think about the work I was holding.

Over time I started experimenting with creating very simple environments where stimulation was reduced, sound was steady and predictable, and nothing was required of the participant. No technique. No expectation. Just a contained space where the body could settle without demand.

What I saw consistently was that predictable sound, low sensory input and a clear, steady structure allowed people to rest more deeply than they expected.

REGISTER YOUR INTEREST Womb Bath® grew from that discovery.

It is now a structured, non-clinical somatic listening modality where participants lie fully clothed in a calm indoor space while a continuous low-frequency soundscape plays through speakers. The practitioner does not guide the experience but holds the structure of the environment so participants can simply rest within it.

In March 2026, Womb Bath® was formally recognised as an accredited modality, supporting both professional delivery and practitioner training.

At its core, the work is intentionally simple.

It removes demand so the body can return to something it already knows how to do – rest.
